Under each of our programme pillars, we have prioritised the most material issues for Kerry Group and its stakeholders and we have carefully examined the ways in which we can lessen our impacts and create value. Under each pillar we have set measurable, time-bound commitments for continuous improvement over a five year period.

Working With Others
As we work to embed sustainability within our organisation, we are actively engaged in dialogue with others. In developing our ‘Towards 2020’ programme we spoke with those impacted by what we do, both inside and outside the organisation. This allowed us to identify the most material issues, to refine our approach and to focus our attention on those critical areas of impact.
This type of engagement continues to be an essential part of our work on sustainability. As a predominantly B2B business, we are particularly attuned to the needs of our customers and are in continuous dialogue with them and other members of our stakeholder community.
However, we realise that the broader challenges presented by sustainability are too large and complex for any one organisation to tackle alone. Issues such as food security, protection of human rights and deforestation all demand a more holistic approach. Kerry Group is committed to working with industry partners and has engaged in a number of multi-stakeholder initiatives to help drive improvement across the industry. Some of these include , the , and .
Sustainability within the organisation is governed by the Kerry Group Sustainability Council, 凯时appwhich has been established under delegation from the Board of Directors. The Council is made up of functional leadership from across the organisation with responsibility for implementation of the Group’s sustainability strategy within their respective areas.
The role of the Sustainability Council is to assess the Group’s ongoing performance, evaluate the risks and opportunities presented by sustainability and agree the means by which these should be addressed. The Council provide updates on the Group’s progress to the Board of Directors at least annually.
